What Is Driver CPC?

Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is a legal requirement for HGV and PSV drivers. Drivers must complete 35 hours of approved periodic training every 5 years to maintain their professional driving entitlement. All training is delivered in accordance with the standards and guidance, and uploaded to the DVSA system on completion.

Driver CPC Course Options

  • Back to Work Driver CPC — for drivers returning to professional driving
  • 3.5-hour modules available — flexible scheduling to fit around your work

How It Works

On completion of each module, we upload your training hours directly to the DVSA system so your record is updated automatically. Choose from weekday or weekend sessions, online or classroom-based, to fit around your working schedule.
