Forklift Truck Operator Training

Forklift truck training is a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act, PUWER, and HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP L117). Our training ensures operators have the knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness to operate forklift trucks safely and competently. Successful candidates receive an approved forklift operator certificate recognised by employers, insurers, and enforcement bodies.

• Novice Operator — for new operators with no prior experience
• Experienced Operator — for operators who have experience but no formal certification
• Refresher Training — every 3 to 5 years, or following a near miss, accident, or equipment change
• Conversion Training — for certified operators moving from one type of forklift to another

• Pre-use inspection and daily checks
• Safe operating procedures
• Load handling and stability
• Operating in confined spaces
• Racking and stacking techniques
